What I Want To Do

What I Want To Do

A Poem by Miles

I want to go far
And get lost somewhere
I'd never understand

I want to walk for half a day
Towards a distant hillside
Once simply noticed

I want to have an adventure
Somewhere dangerous and exciting
With a subconscious hope of dying

Something to get me going
A new dawn, a new way
Breathtaking, just like the good ol' days

Just like I used to
Like I dreamed about
More than just a journey

No purpose in mind
Nothing worth overtaking
Just a life worth staking
