Existential Acceptance

Existential Acceptance

A Poem by Miles

Forgetting the illusion
Passive realization
Simply watching now
As this life goes on

Not much else to do
The thousand-man influence
Has convened once more
So shall I exist
And undeniably contemplate

Duality long dissolved
The void simply understood
No more fear or apprehension
No more belief or superstition

Random at times
Still managing rhymes
Nonexistant meanings
And ceremonial bell chimes

This is my radical acceptance
My dismissal and adherance
An excuse for toleration
Skepticism and discoloration

Bear with me
As the congregation finalizes
Roasts and rationalizes
A universally personalized,
Inferior, equillateral notion
Or perhaps a paradigm
Of philosophical, subjective evaluation

Tending to catharsize
Any sense of joy or specificity
Malignant virus of ideas
Spreading and conquering
Invoking and entertaining

Revolving in pastimes
The dark signs revel and stipulate
A crossing conscious
Two shadows staring
