Fresh Wine

Fresh Wine

A Poem by Miles

I found another
Close in color
Drabbed in vines
Raspberry mine

A great spiel
On the brink of drinks
A toast to the composers
But we are yet to invest

Neither knows
What the other may say
Suggestions drawing closer
To the requited desire

Time will break the ice
Rip the Test
Fire the Judges
And savor the flavour
Of such eloquent wine

The journey will be swift
Passionate and fantastic
The memory will seal
And the bottle
Laid to the rack
