Without A Doubt

Without A Doubt

A Poem by Miles

Presented to me on his gritty hands
Were three men with bowler hats
With a devilish sneer
And a twist of the 'stach
I couldn't help but wonder
What does it all mean?

A glowing, blue man threw a mouse
Out from the river and into the sky
And he spun and screamed
And I could only wonder
What does it mean?

"Get 'em out you dusty beetle?"
Is it sheer randomness?
Is my subconcious trying to lay a fat one on me?

Luckily...
Adventurous symphony spiels on
A background analog
Logged in tight

Indecent pariah
Melatanoid projection
A fainter stranger saying simply,
"Without a doubt."

The words being for no purpose at all
Yet I see a breakthrough
In transformative psychology

The silliest, most rarest words I can conjure
An attempt at originality
I'm telling you,
Memories and knowledge
Are all plagiarism

Pine-toked little stud
A mirror taking a trip
Down a paralyzed score of rodents
Psychosomatically, it rages
For fear it may be forgotten

So, they are trying to kill me
Seen so close, they're as vicious as malaria
Striking down malicious blows

Just fight it
With a sword and a shield
And a helmet and a beard

Rapunsal, you're falling
Your hair is flying

Bolsheviks, the Union's falling
Your brothers are bleeding

Ah, just give it a flower
Or say the magic word

See? That hooded skeleton
Is about to slaughter that boar
