Circle of Color

Circle of Color

A Poem by Miles

On Dawn, preset
The shades of memories now hear-said
Be you thin or thinning
Sit by me and fear nothing

A cure for everything
Even an occasional sigh
Or a distant murmur

Behind purple curtains
Some spectacular and awe-inspiring
Awaits

Deep indigo moonlights the stage
Then the light-blue party animals show up
And money begins to rain

A happy, cartoon sun shows up
And burns them orange
While blood seeps out of their owners

The blood stays there
Then gets stale

It's looks purple again
And here we are
Back at the hotel
