Sleepless Experiment

Sleepless Experiment

A Poem by Miles

I can't remember anything
Save for the movies I've just seen

I feel like a glowing ghoul
I need to keep moving
If I want to keep writing

There's something very dangerous
Coming my way
But with this sword? And this shield?
I will prevail

There are still gifts and giggles
When it comes to cleanliness and itchiness

There's not much in here
But that's just what you see
Everything is very intense
When you're dreaming

With a pocket, and a knife,
I'll see you through 'til the end

Short, scattered thoughts
That lift and leave
What's all this hubub about chaos?
We stand united under the dark flag
Of carelessness
