Peace In Nature

Peace In Nature

A Poem by Miles

High pitched screeching
Echoes in this lonely cave
No water, no fish
And the bakery's far away

Distant landscapes closing in
As this empty wanderer
Realizes total solitude

The birds greet him kindly
And the deer do not flee
Good judgement befalls him
No will-o-wisps in his adobe

Every sound is symphony
Dynns non-existent
All is available for the taking
Yet he is still very sparing

Many had known him
But not as a man
Maybe he's just visiting
There's nothing to fear here

An almost twisted tongue guides the reader to reality and the force of nature herself "No will-o-wisps in his adobe" - an instant favorite!
