Observations

Observations

A Poem by Miles

These ones are stale and chapped
Ruled by carnal conformity
These ones are gathering empty bottles
While these tall, ghastly trees stare on

These ones are laughing about the past
Hiding tears of apprehension
These ones are frail and timid
Getting wasted and losing hope

These ones are free
No longer paralyzed by greed
These ones are fake
Yet of higher stake

These ones are determined
And they shall succeed
These ones are different
Basking in eunaimonia

This one doesn't know
This one won't know
Why these ones
Continue to grow
