A Chapter by Moga
"

Who is Liam Reed?

"
Alarms wailed as Liam dashed out of the minimally secured art museum and into the narrow, rainy streets of London. "Another Success," he thought arrogantly to himself as he carefully tucked the delicate painting under his arm. Three police cars, sirens blaring and on route to the museum passed him and he slipped into a dark alley, his heart still racing, though not from fear but from the pure thrill of what he knew he was getting away with.
He slowed down and caught his breath as he approached the trunk of his silver Bentley Coupe. His hands shook as fumbled with his keys, inserting the appropriate one to the slot and turning it, popping the spacious trunk open and revealing the spot where his prize would be temporarily stowed. He gently placed the art into the trunk and, finger by finger took off his black leather gloves tossing them onto the painting. Thud, he closed the trunk. He shuffled over to the driver's side door and opened it, folding his long, thin legs into the cramped, leather interior of the car.
Gripping the steering wheel with white-knuckled intensity with his right hand, he reached down, engaging the ignition of the car, knowing the attention that would be given to any car on the street, this time of night, and especially after the theft that happened less than two blocks away. He disengaged the parking brake and started to accelerate. Slowly creeping out of the alley, he turned off his headlights, hoping to hide himself and the car from the police, now crawling all over a five block radius around the museum. "Now the fun part. Hehe, ok Liam lets see what you can do," he told himself again, over-confident in his ability.
He revved the engine... He heard the sirens behind him... It was time for his favorite part: the getaway.

I decided to give you a review! Even though you already know what I think... :) But this review I'll treat like any other review I'd type for anyone else on this site! Not as your lover... :P
I think you have a strong voice in your writing. You definitely know how to get your point across using spectacular imagery and interesting adjectives. Very descriptive. I can also hear you as a person speaking, and that gives it your unique-ness! There's a site where you copy and paste your writing and hit enter, and they will tell you what author your writing style is most like. I pasted mine, then, out of curiosity I pasted yours! It turns out we both write like the same author, Dan Brown (author of The Da Vichi Code). I found that interesting! Another thing we have in common, Moga... ;) Keep writing! It makes me happy reading your stories.
