like glass,

porcelain.

you pick me up once again

and fix me.

i’m fragile now.

careful when handling

my sharp, broken heart

it is yours now

as it has always been

and will always be.

just treat it well

it’s a gift from the universe

for you

look after it

be grateful for it

like it was your own

love it

admire it

as if it was really mine

to your soil

like a leaf i fall

to the ground
