“I want to fill pages with the way you position your body while you sleep.. If I learn this language, you will become my moon, and I will read my future in the curve of your waist or the openness of a hand. Every phase of what you allow to glow.”

The house does not respond to her whisper, and he is no longer here, to be the response. She wonders where the happiness comes from.

Far from here, in other accents, there is an empty room that she once filled. Silhouettes and crescendos burnt their desire into the walls and this quietness is a monument to shadow, once light.

“I would keep the weight of you.”

She presses a hand to her rib, to her mouth.

“I would find your way back.”

She wonders where the happiness comes from, when it wants to be loved. And which corner of this vacancy, is filled.

“I would like to keep talking about you. If you’ll listen.”

The opening dialogue is simply amazing!

And I love this part too:

"She wonders where the happiness comes from, when it wants to be loved. And which corner of this vacancy, is filled."
