A Poem by mikl paul

untitled. 2/8/13

--

somewhere in this sudden rain.    she asks

if you found who you were hiding in

your soft pace outside the bedroom window.

hand to the glass    as though     could you?

heal this.   yes.     and if my taste has

become a souvenir.          somewhere in this

   suddenly,     rain,       agreeing,   to stand

beside some great cleansing,    but with you,

    cleansed.

wow, in your work i see such hints of william carlos williams, one of my favorites...you take normal things but give them a sweet abstractness.

and i really like your formatting, the spacing etc.
it gives that interesting flow to your pieces, almost like a backwards beat like the song "let it ride" by bachman-turner overdrive.

good stuff...glad you commented on my poem so i could find your stuff.
