EmptyA Poem by mikesartistryEver been hurt? Hurt so bad, that you could no longer FEEL the hurt? Ever felt undervalued?Empty My love for you was inevitable, but sadly you couldn't even realize that. Even when I foreshadowed the bigger picture of me and you, you turned that vision into dust. I thought our love was deep, but your introspection of love was only lust. You didn't value the importance of my energy to your space or the worlds, you neglected my soul but accepted my presence. I was present but i was not SEEN, my voice was music to your ears, but you did not LISTEN...to the rhythm, the tones, and words that made me gleam. I wanted you to look past my physical entity, so that our love could pervade through the air. You took my heart, played with it then shattered it, into a million pieces, even though you looked me in the eyes and swear'd. I was so oblivious to those eyes, them eyes...that had partial sight vision. I wish I would've listened to my heart, when it was giving me warnings through the beat. I'm now emotion-less, not sad, not angry You put me in a place where i can no longer feel hurt, Simply because my soul is now empty.
