Ode To Thee

Ode To Thee

A Poem by Larry Johnson

No it don’t take a fool to see from the way I smile when you look at thee how much I do love thee. Yes far more complicated than roses and candy, pulling out chairs or dinner and a move but still and all its expressed by the joy and things that we do for thee, the perfect model of what woman and man should be. The angels must rejoice when they look at thee, and smile at all the love that’s expressed between you and me. Far be it for anyone to think that we shouldn’t be, for this love that we’ve found was destined to be the very personification of what love was meant to be. Why even a blind man can plainly see just how much you truly mean to thee, yes far more illustrious than any diamond or pearl with a love like ours we can conqueror the world.
