Cast

A Poem by Larry Johnson
"

A lot of times we typecast people before we even get a chance to see who and what their about

"

Cast like iron to a flame like rubber to a mold like clay to a oven cast, cast for my hair cast for my skin cast for my stature and my heritage within Then they wonder why we crazy why we locked up like animals up state for long stages, then they wonder why we cant raise our babies cant trust the system cant keep a lady, maybe its because of our past we don’t know no better it wasn’t meant to last or maybe its because we just don’t care it’s a sad sad state it wasn’t bound to last or maybe just maybe its because I’ve been cast.
