Just my dabbling into poetry again.

Passing words
In a thoughtless moment
So long ago
You're shocked I still remember
I'm dismayed you've forgotten
I shouldn't carry things like that around with me you say
But, words leave scars too, don't you know?

Indeed they do. I like this. It makes the reader wonder what words were passed from one to the other, which piques curiosity and interest.
