Morsel

Morsel

Feeling flat

Morsel

Struggle to find love when I’m blind

Words go on mazy runs and I forget

To trickle clues along the route

So I can find my way home

Amazing the places I encounter

They have no border controls

And people speak with tangled tongues

Especially then I feel alone

There’s nothing really to complain of

Just faulty wiring and a tingling sense of loss

Incredible to drown in daylight

And let the day evaporate

What happens then when daylight fades

And this dwindling fizz

Ceases to care

Will I dissolve?

Author's Note

mikedohsays
self indulgent, yes but better out than in I think. A reflection of the way I feel right now. Unworthy, ungrateful except that I'd like to scrape the 'un' from the face of true.
