The Invisible Touch

The Invisible Touch

A Poem by Michael

The image in my head

Having you here to hold

Resting in your arms

Keeping me from the cold

Feeling your heat

As the friction begins

I only hope

This dream never ends

The essance of your touch

Softly pressing against my skin

The imagination of your presence

Is soothing within

So hold me closer

In our dreams at night

And maybe someday

It'll be alright.

Oh.. how I loved this one!!! This was simple yet so meaningful.. full of ryhthm and rhyme.. a few more lines and you could have some lyrics for sure here! (though I wouldn't change a thing). This would be a wonderful gift to a partner or spouse left me with a high sense of spirituality ringing through it! So many will relate to this one.. as everyone desires love and that very special bond. Grade A.. saving to favorites!
