Mesmerized

Mesmerized

A Poem by Michael

Mesmerized, caught in the moment,

At the fascination of her voice.

Succumbed to the hypnotic soundwaves protruding through the air.

Silently I am overwhelmed.

Halted by sudden silence and darkness.

Panic hits the streets.

Then at last I see the blast,

And life as we know it, ceaces to exist.

Then out of the ashes, a new day has begun.

With the Father of all Creation

Here to reign for all eternity.

To free us from strife, and insanity.

This is an interesting Final Days type poem. I was unsure about the first part-but understood after the second read. I like the vision of hope and salvation at the end.
