Cries In The Night

Cries In The Night

A Poem by Michael

Laying in the bed

My mind begins to wonder

The life of my family

My heart starts to ponder

Do I raise the kids

In the right way

Do I show enough love

To my wife day after day

Do I provide

For everyone all their needs

I ask God these questions

As I fall down on my knees

I ask Him over and over

To show me the right path

And to give me strength

Till this troubled times pass.

I really like this. Maybe because sometimes this is what I do... maybe because I need to do it more.

Reflection is a good thing when it makes me see wrong things and urges me to fix them.
Thanks for the reminder.

i really like poems of questioning. showing our vulnerability. you are holding onto your faith and that is the best thing you can do. Thanks for putting yourself out there in your work.

peace,
Danielle
