Obsession

Obsession

A Poem by Michael

Beyond being fascinated,

Past all that's due

After the fact that it happens

I have feelings for you

You're all that matters

Everything else seems bliss

If we were parted

You I would deeply miss

I need you by me

At the day's end

With you at my side

When the day begins

I take every breath

Think only about you

With every thought

I know I'll be true

You consume my very existance

From begining to end

Till death do us part

I love you my friend

My friend, my wife, my lover

You mean the world to me

Beautiful.
I've always enjoyed seeing a man's face, hearing a man's words when he expresses his love for the woman in his life. It lightens up a place in me, makes it shine, makes it want. This truly touches me. I find it beautiful and wow, I'm so impressed. I'm beaming from ear-to-ear. If I remove the last couple of sentences, I actually had my son, standing on his chair (which he shouldn't be doing LOL) next to me as I sit here at my computer desk typing my response to you. I could place your words just as easily in reference to my child. You've made me smile today friend. What a beautiful way to start the day!
Brava!
