Who Am I?
by Michael Watson
Who Am I?
That a God would consider me,
Who Am I?
That a God would die in my stead.
Who Am I?
That a God would wrap himself in flesh,
Just to shed his blood,
to give is life,
to save my soul.
Who Am I, I ask myself,
Then with loving soft words,
I hear a small voice,
You are my child,
that is who you are,
And any other dad would do the same for his children.
And with tear filled eyes, and a trembling voice,
I ask myself
Who Am I?
That a God would love me enough to claim me as his own.
Then it hits me.
I am a Child of God,
I am royalty, I am free to laugh,
free to dance,
free to praise his glorious name.
I am a Child of God,
And that's who I am.
