The world eater

A poem (kinda) about Ouroboros a large snake from viking lore or some such that eats itself and circles the globe.

A large reptile

so large in fact

it circles the earth

Ouroboros

It lies under the sea

supporting the rocks above it

its tail is stuck 

between its teeth

eternally being sucked up

like macabre spaghetti 

 

but one day it will be done

and we shall rue it.
