Way way down below

My thoughts on the the lower levels of the ocean.

Beneath the waves are many creatures

sharks and minnows 

dolphins and jellyfish

but those are just the tip of iceberg

things you might see on a fishing trip

travel downwards

till the sun is but a dream

downwards till the weight can crush a human

and you will find some truly

unique 

aquatic beasts

fish with internal lanterns

squids of titanic proportions

and eels of horrific design.

The scenery is nothing 

to scoff at either 

burning vents 

that put one in mind of hell

and of course the darkness

what with no sun 

there's only the man and fish made lights

to guide you down there.

Perhaps its best to stick with fishing trips.
