A Poem by Mike Espinosa

Whisper sweet nothings into my ear.
Your sparkling pebbles in my eyes,
your hair ruffled on the pillow.
My dancing fingertips
gliding along your hips.
Your eyelids bat slowly,
your peaceful grin cemented.
The ecstasy hanging in the air,
this moment lasts forever.
The covers pulled up
gracing your shoulder.
You'll vanish before my eyes.
For you love me-
only when it's convenient.
