Fair Maiden

Fair Maiden

A Poem by Mike Espinosa

Happiness is a distant memory.
Pleasure is a myth.
Pain is reality.
Yesterday is a bitter dream.
Tomorrow, a sweet nightmare.
You are my yesterday,
my fair maiden,
where did I go wrong?
You are my myth,
but without you is reality.
