GoodBye

GoodBye

A Poem by Edyne Huckabay
"

Heartbreak

"

GoodBye

You told me I was special,
But left me.
Not even saying goodbye!

You told me that you loved me,
But still broke my heart.
Not even considering why!

I gave you my heart,
But you dropped it,
You stomped on it,
Crushed it.
Now I'm left here,
Saying goodbye.

But the rivers will still flow,
The rain will fall,
The trees will grow,
Life will go on.

But how can life go on!
While I'm broken,
Left in pieces.
Because of you!
Now I have to do something,
That will break me.
I have to leave you,
And say goodbye.

Very interesting poem about breakups. Beakups can be heard.

Experience can be a hard teacher, but its lessons can be invaluable if properly appreciated.
