The Way It IsA Poem by MichaelaWe all get over itMaybe I'm glad you pushed me down That you forced me to wear that frown You've made a fatal mistake My heart wasn't the one to break
I hope you're happy with her now Cause I'm ready to take a final bow And let the velvet curtains fall Don't expect that curtain call.
You say it's becuase I lied And for that I cried and cried I told you I wanted to quit But you will never forgive me for it.
I wasn't the only desceptive one, Discovering that was no great fun. But once again you played the game, And my own self I found to blame.
So there I was, lying alone When I got up on my own So it's time I bid you adieu Now my days aren't so blue.
If you're wondering about me I just have one simple plea...
