Morning Rays of Sun

Morning Rays of Sun

A Poem by Midnight Dreams

Tear Drops fall quietly on the blanket,

A whole night spent in despair,

An aching heart, in solitude.

Darkness lets sorrows to wake up,

To dance in the moist eyes,

And rock and roll down cheeks.

Hour after hour it continues like a watlz,

A celebration of anguish in human life,

When there is a night inside and shadow outside.

And then come the rays of the Morning Sun,

To dry out dew drops on the leaves,

Erase all evidence of a soaking night,

 Life has to go on.

I love the honest truth in this poem. The imagery in the body of it is a painfully truthful look at the vulnerability that we often face in the solitude and stillness of night that I can really relate to and the last line is a perfect conclusion with the reality check telling us that there is so much more.

OH my...This was so sad and heart breaking :(
This poem touched the very core of me..
I love the ending of it a lot, it concluded the entire poem so well and also gave a message to carry on..
Very well penned!

The struggle of living leave us empty. Need to gain strength by a night of rest to go forward. A excellent poem. I know the feeling in your words in this poem..
