Idea for a story...

I'm trying to think of some ideas for a story...what do you think of this?

All knowledge is gone. The whooping cough has killed off half of the population and is currently sweeping over Europe. The structures of communities have returned to that of medieval times. With despair rising and people becoming more desperate, the whooping cough isn’t the only cause of death. The people of earth turn to God as the end of the days grow nearer. The human races only hope is a prophecy from the dawn of time; At the end of days,

Adam will repay the apple,

But Eve will take another bite.

To the fairest, the prophet says,

But not to the one so thought.

 

 The European city Indemterra (formally known as Venice) has just been hit with the whooping cough epidemic. Two teenagers, Conall and Sophana discover an apple marked “to the fairest” and must escape before they are sacrificed by the scared mayor of their City. They escape across country but are followed relentlessly by Indemterras fully fledged Armies.

The cold and hunger isn’t the only thing Conall and Sophana have to compete with. Terrified villagers and wild dogs are a constant threat, but the most terrible evil is the one within themselves.

The final judgement waits for them within the apple, but to fore full the prophecy only one can survive.

I don't usually review stories, I'm more into lyrics.
Anyways, I really like this. I like the whole scene you're creating, if this story was for a movie, it would be on of those really expensive to do with a whole bunch of effects and awesomeness. Just an idea, you should add some sci-fi to it. The 'Heros' tv-show kind of sci-fi :)
