Moon Light Box

Moon Light Box

A Poem by Leah Natalie
"

A poem I wrote when I was 11

"

Moonlight box,

made of tin,

Painted blue and white,

Release the moon,

into the sky

and cover up the night.

The moonlight boxes secret

truth may never be told,

but somehow you keep the sun and day

from the darkest night and moon.

I really like this. I like how it all flows in such a simple but beautiful way. I could have never written something this good when I was 11 years old!
