Raindrop

Raindrop

A Poem by Leah Natalie

From the heavens, Falling, Falling.

Silently wishing for safety.

Sounds rushing, closer, closer.

The material black as night.

Silently dying, bursting, bursting.

Myself no longer whole.

Concrete so cold, lying, lying.

Paralyzed by fear.

Somebody running, passing, passing.

No hope of being saved.

Nobody sees me, dying, dying.

In the yellow of the morning.

I like how you used first person in this, like from the drops perspective. Great poem.
