Empty Space

Right now I feel my heart ache
feeling the separation take
my heart its missing something
something I know-I crave-
I need in order to see clearly
my heart it pounds so angrily
at the empty space
where the missing piece should be
where you should be
I miss you...
more than words can say-
describe in any way
even more than
the flowers who miss the rain
and this pain only gets worse
with every passing day
with every second you’re not here-
not next to me
my heart it aches...
but soon I know you'll be here
wrapped in my arms
and soon that empty space
will have you in its place
no longer would my heart pound angrily
with you next to me
