Winter Ice

Winter Ice

A Poem by *Evelen*

Winters ice

No longer wraps around my soul.

Love is such a radiant device

That makes my heart whole.

This thing called love

puts away the winters cold.

Never will my heart be shoved,

or be controlled

I now know that love is real.

The warmth it brings feels so nice,

And I’m beginning to feel

the descending of the ice.

This ice no longer

is as clever.
