Bliss I Can't Have

I closed my eyes ready for the hit until I felt an ice cold arm wrap around me stopping me from my death… from my wish.

           “Let go of me!” I shrieked while struggling to get to the glass wall. I kicked my feet and started to hit his arms trying to make him drop me.

          “I won’t let go!” his voice boomed within the room. “…I won’t…” he promised himself.

          I kicked and kicked until I lost all hope. My legs dangled towards the floor in defeat. “Please…” A picture of Erik’s smiling face flashed before my eyes. “Kill me.” I begged weakly. Erik’s face kept appearing. “Please.” I cried while trying to get the pictures out of my head. “I can’t take it….”

-FLASH-

          “His smile won’t go away.” I cried while gasping for air.

                   -FLASH-

          “Must I live?” I asked God while slouching in the mans arms. “Must I live..?” I repeated to myself in a whisper.

          I had no time to react to the hit to the head that made my vision darken...that made everything grow quiet.

          “I’ll fix it Evelen.”
