Life. It's Quite Funny.

Everything about life is quiet funny.

All of its lies trust me.

People talk about love as if it is real.

 Like someone could actually heal from heartbreak.

Everyone laughs when nothings funny.

 Just to make the other person feel good about their lame joke.

 People will say “It makes you look fat.”

 When really you look beautiful.

Humans just make me sick with all their lies.

With all of them,  just wasting their time.

 Making others miserable just to make themselves happy.

To put a smile on their sick and twisted faces.

 “Your outfit is stupid.” A girl will say to me.

I just laugh and say “And you look lovely.”

Just watch as their smile turns to confusion.

And laugh as you walk away

Leaving them clueless.

Let all the lies roll down your back.

Don’t worry what they say.

It’s your life and you’re living it.

In the end you’ll die with it.

So why must it matter what others say.

If it makes you smile makes you laugh

Then enjoy it while you can.

Aww, very sweet and uplifting! I definitely agree with what you've said in your poem, and I think that it's important for people to realise it, because sometimes, people have to learn it the hard way in order to believe it. My favourite lines in your poem were '“Your outfit is stupid.” A girl will say to me. I just laugh and say “And you look lovely.”' That really made me smile. :D

it's really good! so true! people indulge in pity things to show themselves as superior over others.. they make fun of others so that they feel good about it... sad but true... your ending was really good... positivity you shown at the end and the message delivered is so remarkable! good write!
