You made me smile when I was frowning

You made me laugh when I was aching

 You made me calm when I was nervous

You made me happy when I was sad

You caught me as I was falling

You made me live when I was dying

You made me remember when I had forgotten

You made me have hope when all hope was gone

You made me safe as my world came crashing down

Wrapped in your arms without a sound

You’ve done so much for me

Yet I’m still trying to see why

You picked a girl like me

You made my dreams come back to life when I thought they had all died

You made my wings yearn to fly when I was still afraid of heights

You made me able to see when I was blind to all the good things

You made me strong when I was weak

But the best thing you every did for me was

You loved me when I was broken

And you only loved me for me.

Well I'm no good at ryhming poems lol yah that's why this one doesn't rhyme (or non of the rest) lol

I like it simple, but it means so much! Not all poems have to rhyme, I actually think they are better when they don't rhyme, that way they aren't cookie cutter! :)

Hm... The not rhyming made it better then if it did, I think... People think poems need to rhyme (my brother for one) in order for it to be any good. If you go by my bro's opinion, then the not rhyming emphasizes how it's special that the guy quote for quote

"picked a girl like me"

The not rhyming showed the imperfection in her... I think. Well, it's a good piece. I certainly liked it.
