Reminiscence

Reminiscence

A Poem by Arpita Mondal

I wonder how many nights I've spent sleepless just imagining the sound of your laughter and the curve of your smile?

How many moments I've wasted just reminiscing the colour of your eyes and the shape of your face?

How many days has it been since you've been gone? I guess I've lost the count now.

Longing too much for a person to come back in our life makes us unable to see all the happenings around us sometimes....A cheerful reminiscence and a carving heart....what's more needed to feel left out!
I hope tis all fictional Arpita...hope you're doing well :)

At one time, I wasted years thinking about someone. The difference was she belonged to someone else. :(

Oh deat I'm sorry. I wish you get all the things you deserve. :)
Touching, sensitive and so passionate. Really got under my skin. And made me sigh. As I felt your heart speak to mine.

Thank you so much Dee. It really means a lot to me :)
Sometimes the footprints of ghosts linger in the mind, looking for the corridors they once graced, but only finding the dead ends of what ifs and maybes, forever lioking for a way in, while you hope they find the exit.
The mind is a wonderful, yet vindictive mistress.
