Reality

Reality

A Poem by Arpita Mondal

Days will pass and you'll abandon the things you were addicted to, give up on the dream you've had since you were 12, leave someone whom you loved, cancel a plan and finally surrender to the monotonous reality.

You should write stories, I feel like you'd excel at that after reading your poetry :) You have a lot of emotion and you aren't afraid of exposing the most vulnerable parts of yourself to the world, and I feel like that makes for the most captivating of stories.

Arpita, you have a poetic prose style as Mika points out would also work with short stories

Why do you think reality is monotonous? Real life beats fiction in its strange and unexpected turns, challenging us, deep love is satisfying in ways that can't be expressed with words.

Gee
Aye that's the reality of life, routine. Up, out, work, home, eat, sleep, up, out, work....until the weekend. Then Monday, up, out, work, and on and on and on it goes :))

Life moves on dear one...and we learn to live...
Writing helps a lot...
Every phase we get a new trial...then we keep going on...that's what I think we need to learn...to just find that energy to keep us moving...
