In Our Daily GloveA Poem by midielIt's a word play, baby...In our daily glove, You should see me thinking about you too much, You should know I break down ‘cause I know this won’t last They should know we’re too in love I would’ve done something out of mind But guilt, is a thing I don’t feel I have This moment, those clement seconds, I saw sparkling fireworks deep within Must have seen that splendid pyrotechnics ‘cause getting under your skin is like touching a star Your hills are tempting, your eyes… I swear I saw your lips burning Stroking them, taste them I desire your fire Forgive my sins, I did not remorse But could nothing tell me, how your head appears How your thoughts reach me And my cell rings Whenever my mind throbs damn hard for you, Nothing could explain Why the f**k is I in our daily glove Baby, I give you something I could tolerate. I could not tell
you without indirection. Maybe the world at large has made me profanely small, I
could not give out my all before I met you. You bring the light,
no, you shine my dark coven but it is still dark. I don’t care baby,
I’m glowing. It’ll eternally glow, as long as I have you. I
wanted to know why, that I’ve been working my brain to find the
reason, you are always in presence. I’m not lost if I said I think of you when
you think of me. I’m in my own path when I know I think about you every split
second. And of course, you’re in your own when he’s around. This hectic soul
knows the truth. Baby oh my, I don’t see us together in the
future. Just like you said it would be. This is a short term liaison;
let me have you while it lasts. Except loving you requires not togetherness, we’ll have a great
companionship in future. And believe in me, when yours fades,
mine will always remain for you. I obey lily, a flyable ovum.* © 2010 midielAuthor's Note
