Golden Silence

Golden Silence

A Poem by Midge Mile
"

I started this poem a while ago. I lost it then found it one night. I don't know where I got the lines from.

"

Love and hate.

Secret lie.

Golden silence

in short supply.

Lover's dance

on fate's loom.

Could there be

a bit more room?

Could love hate?

Could hate love?

Can we bring

the white peace dove?

Is the world

really flawed?

Or is it just

the plan of God?

Will you think

about love's gift?

Or will you let

hate grow a rift?

Good questions to ask,

these are all

when your lover

gives the call.
