Centric

A Poem by Marie Erica

ptolemy said the universe was geocentric.

copernicus said the universe was heliocentric.

first i thought it was mecentric

and then i thought it was youcentric

and then i was naive and thought it was uscentric.

now i say the universe is heliocentric

because that’s the only one i know is true.
