Delirious

Delirious

A Poem by A

Ages together
Ageless together

He touches her heart
And falls in love

She touched his heart
And loved him through
The heat of the summer
The power of raging storms
The temptations of lustful pleasures

He reaches out
to her
Pushing his whole life aside
for her
Spending every night
with her

She crawled over beside him
and laid her head upon his chest
She traced lazy circles across his waistline
She kissed his cheek
and whispered 'I love you',
then she fell onto the pillow

He snuggles up into her long hair, smelling her natural beautiful scent
He kisses
her hand
her wrist
her elbow

He kisses her on the lips
hard
then softer

She didn't move
He doesn't breathe

She
has been
dead
He
will forever be
delirious
