God

God

A Poem by A

Sparks exploded from a blackened sky, navigating to Earth from a universe far away
The empowered
The almighty
The restless
The one true God sat on his high throne, throwing his wrath down upon his once-perfect Earth
A forgotten, isolated apple grove erupted in front of a drunk, sinful man
His snake's deathly, persuasive howls filled the night air as the decayed branches around him licked with flames of justice
The light from the heavens smoldered around his now desolate landscape
And, to end the twelve day destruction of his broken ways, his iron gates permanently sealed to block future passage to his fortress
