new chapter

end of high school, start of college

One door closes, another opens

Where will life bring me only one person knows?

I may be scared shitless but all I can do is trust him,

He knows how my life is going to work itself out.

I thought I had it planned but he decided “Nope, I want you over here.”

 

Now, off to a different place, a different state

Away from my friends, and family, there goes my support group.

So far away from my love, how can I survive if I go crazy when I don’t see her for a week?

If we are meant to be this will prove it, but there has to be an easier way.

 

I always knew this day would come, but I NEVER thought it would be so hard.

Being content where I am right now, knowing exactly what to expect.

Now I am getting dropped off in unfamiliar territory, not sure of what will happen.

I guess this is another chapter in life, hopefully not the last.
