Watching

Watching

A Poem by Kayla
"

I wrote this to show people part of my point of view.

"

I sit watching the people smile,

I've been sitting here a while.

Listen to the sound,

Look all around

What do u see?

What can this be?

Perhaps fake smiles?

I hear people talk,

I watch people walk.

I see people cry,

I see people die.

I agree. If you stay in one place long enough, one does tend to see all these things.
I can relate to this. Once, while in college. I took a full day, sat myself down on a bench on the Seattle, water front, and just watched. One learns alot about humanity by just observing it's daily ritual, with all it's moving parts.

The only suggestion I might make, would be to expand on the idea..Perhaps the different types of smiles, walks, what they talk about, and how they cry. Might be interesting. :)

Great Write!
