Not OK

Not OK

A Poem by Kayla

Look into her eyes,
What do you see?
You see a girl who is strong, right?
Look again. Look closer and deeper.
You will see a girl that’s weak,
That has been hurt over and over again.
And no matter how hard she tries,
She fails at everything she does.
This girl isn’t ok.
Look deep into her eyes,
Look into her soul.
She’s not ok,
She’ll never be ok.
She’ll never be completely happy.
This girl won’t be ok.

You wrote this poem in such a clever way.
The way you repeat that "this girl is not okay" just gives the poem such a dimension, its wonderful.
There isn't anything to criticise, its just all round, good.
The sadness, the hollowness, it's all there, expressed in this poem.
Stunning write.

I felt so much sadness here, a wanting to reach out and make everything okay.

You do so well with expressing your emotions. I like your word flow and the rhythm. Good job!
