Broken

Broken

A Poem by Kayla
"

this was really hard for me too put in to words so it would sound like a poem

"

I feel so broken

But I have not spoken
I feel let down
Like I’m going to drown

Drowning, in the pool called life
Leaving behind all this strife
Forgetting about bad times
Sometimes I’d rather break my spine

Those days that I spent crying
I was just sick of all that lying
Just tell me the truth!
Don’t take away my youth.

I hate to see you like this
You have no bliss
Always upset
You have too many regrets

But can you see what you did?
Do you know what you did to this kid?
You broke her heart.
All you did was break it apart.

I feel so broken
Now I have spoken
I still feel let down
But, my mask is a frown.

Raw and full of emotion, this was a great read.

This is really blunt. I like it.
I also agree with Nessa. ABAB will make more of an impact.

GREAT WRITE!

This is good. But try an ABAB rhyming scheme instead of AABB I think it will suit it better.

Great Job!!

solid and strong, and very well writen!
your pain, and you frustration weeped from these lines....
Yet towards the end, i think that you have begun to heal, but it stile is a sore subject.
Thank you for your courage in sharing this!
Wonderful Words!
for a tragic happening
Hugs and prayers to you! :)
