Just A Click

Just A Click

A Poem by Mickey Ellison
"

Disaster strikes the Cafe'

"

Just a click

They sat for hours
Before the screen
Piercing the veil
Reliving the scene
Pouring their heart
Inside

Daring to think
Their deepest
Dragging the joy
The weeping
Out
And onto the page

Once there
Somehow important
And more-so, uploaded
They wait
Will they read?
What will they say?

Anticipation and then
Victory
“It’s Great”
They wrote and said
“Great”

Then click
It’s dead
Lost
And gone forever

“Forgive me” he said.
