Stumped

Stumped

A Poem by Mitch
"

If you couldn't tell from my absolute ramblings, I normally don't find it hard to write. But recently it's been running away from me. That fact makes me want to claw my eyes out if we're being real

"

Usually it chases me

Snatching me in it’s claws

snarling , growling

Not granting release

Not yet

Not now

I’m stuck in it’s maw

Snarling, growling

Until the beast

So kindly

Is complacent with my work

I write

Scribble

Drawl

Over and over and over and over

Like a madman

A fool

Clanging against keys he’s not sure if he’s allowed access to

Snarling, growling

Begging the beast to take a bite
